Global vs Country Rankings: what’s the difference?
World or Country ranking: learn which players are compared, how your profile country is used and how leaderboard positions are ordered.
One Rating, two comparison groups
The World leaderboard compares eligible public, active profiles across countries. The Country leaderboard filters that population using the country associated with the profile. Both views use the same Aura Rating: switching tabs does not create a second score or change the results of your battles.
Your positions can therefore be very different in the two lists. A player may be near the top of a Country leaderboard while being further down globally. That reflects the size and competitive level of the comparison group, not a points bonus for a particular country. Both basic leaderboards are part of the free experience.
Your profile country determines the national view
The country used for ranking comes from the claimed profile. It is not a separate competition triggered by your phone language or the language of this website. Reading Battle Aura in English does not replace your profile country with an English-speaking country; choosing French does not automatically put you in the French leaderboard.
Check your country in profile settings if the national view differs from what you expected. You must also meet ranking eligibility requirements, including eligible competitive participation. If no position appears, read the explanations of Aura Rating and account claiming rather than creating a second profile to try to force your way onto a leaderboard.
Understand ties and refresh timing
The server separates players with the same Rating using ranking rules, including Verified Battle count and when the Rating was reached. Two profiles displaying the same number of points may therefore have different positions. The order is not decided by a premium subscription or a setting selected in a browser.
Positions are recalculated regularly. After a match, the score may update before the list shows the new rank. Avoid treating screenshots taken at different times as a frozen result. Aura+ can help you follow historical movement, but it does not change the Country population or the principle of global comparison.
